Program Structure

The course is delivered across four modules over approximately 25–30 weeks.

Module 1 – Understanding Harmful Behaviour

Participants begin exploring accountability, offending patterns, cognitive distortions, and the impact of harmful sexual behaviour on children and families.

Module 2 – Childhood & Emotional Development

This module explores trauma, attachment, emotional development, and childhood experiences that may contribute to harmful behaviours.

Module 3 – Empathy & Emotional Awareness

Participants work toward developing empathy, understanding boundaries, emotional regulation, and insight into the impact of offending.

Module 4 – Relapse Prevention & Positive Sexuality

The final module focuses on identifying risk factors, preventing reoffending, developing healthier coping strategies, and building respectful, positive relationships.

Flexible Participation Options

While the program is primarily delivered in person, some sessions may be attended online via our secure teleconferencing system. This can support participation for FIFO workers, interstate participants, or those unable to attend every session in person.

Participation suitability for online attendance is discussed during the assessment process.

That keeps it clear and professional without overpromising that the whole program is online.
